I have always loved wood. The grain, texture and smell are a few of resons I love to work with wood. I am mainly a green woodworker which means I work with fresh cut wood and use hand tools to create my spoons and shrink pots. Hand tools give me more control and are so much more quiet and mediative. When I pick up my grandfather's bit and brace to drill or a hand plane I feel a sense of connection.
