You'll also learn some of the do's & Don'ts of each method. All tools and an initial amount of clay are provided. You will practice techniques then reuse the clay to practice other techniques. Some clay will be allocated for items you may want to keep. If you use up all your clay, you may purchase additional clay for more take home projects. All objects you want to keep will be fired a few days after each class and will be available at the following class or 7 -10 days after the last class. Additional supplies may be purchased at the Gallery to continue work at home. You will understand the basics of how clay objects have been made for thousands of years. You will also learn the basics of glazing by glazing or painting your objects. You will leave with a solid foundation in working with clay and the ability to apply your new skill set to other 3-D work and materials as well as several items you have created.
