Karin Chapman

I'm a self taught jewelry artist from Germany. I've been in Baton Rouge since 2003. I have always had a passion for stones be it an agate found in the vineyards in Germany or an agate from Louisiana. This passion led me to jewelry making. I took a metal texturing class in 2010 at the LSU campus.After that I taught myself silversmithing, foldforming, and how to work with precious metals, clay and wire wrapping. I also cut and cab (cabochon) my own stones. I never know what I will create or try next. My artist name is the combination of my son's middle name Corbin and my dog's name Roxy and the stones I love so much.
