Mission Statement

Mid-City Artisans is committed to Supporting the Arts through education and events for the art loving public and helping Louisiana Artisans be increasingly successful in their craft!

You or your company can help us accomplish our mission by:

You will have an opportunity to learn along the way. We appreciate your contribution and respect your time so we ask that you only volunteer for what you are comfortable doing.

Are you skilled in art? Want to share your knowledge? We need instructors for the wide variety of art classes listed on our website and even new classes. Classes last one to one and a half hours with a few adult classes lasting up three hours. You can choose which age groups and classes you want to lead.

In between classes you can work on your own art, and get tips from our staff Artist.

Kids classes – beginner through advanced

       Age 5 – 8

       Age 8 – 12

              Weekdays (Tuesday – Friday) 4 pm – 6 pm

              Saturday morning (9 – 12) or afternoon (12 – 4)

              Sundays (11 – 4)

       Kids Art Camps – during school breaks and in the summer.              Camps are 9 – 12 am  & 12:30 – 3:30 pm.

Adult classes (age 13 and up) – beginner through intermediate

       Morning classes 10 am – 1 pm

       Afternoon classes 12 pm – 4 pm (flexible on exact hours.)

       Evening classes 4 pm – 8 pm (open late for classes only)

We also offer advanced Artist taught classes.
