Hi, my name is Daniel Blount. I am a native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana but have been living in the Marksville area for the past 15 years. I have been an electrician since I was 20 years old so I have been working with wire and commercial/industrial fittings for a very long time. I have always loved trees and nature. I could spend hours sitting in a tree or under the shade of one. One day when I was resting under a tree on my lunch break during work I was playing with a piece of scrap wire, untwisting it and realized it kind of looked like the tree I was resting under. I then started actually trying to sculpt trees from wire and discovered I had a talent for it. Since then I have been pushing myself to improve on the art and have found a love for creating something unique that inspires people and brings them joy simply by looking upon it. I love trying to create both realistic and fantasy style trees, hence the name; Fantasy Art Wire Trees. I have made wire tree sculptures from as small as 3inches tall to as large as 5 feet tall and 4 feet wide.

I also discovered,that with a little practice I was able to make Steam Punk Robot Lamps out of industrial pipe fittings, so I very much enjoy making those also. I feel truly blessed to have discovered such wonderful talents I have been gifted with and absolutely love sharing them with the world.
